Evaluating therapeutic outcomes for movement-related disorders

Goal

To evaluate gait performance pre- and post-deep brain stimulation therapy in patients with Parkinson’s Disease, in combination with advanced classification paradigms in order to:

  • the effective identification of dominant pathological characteristics during gait, as well as
  • the evaluation of DBS therapy outcome and therefore evidence based approaches for both predicting subject-specific functional outcomes as well as targeting therapies at individuals.
